This fiscal year is coming to a quick end; I have enjoyed working for you again. Most of our Posts are still lacking in paid up members and I have sent the list to each Post so you can contact them for Payment. I don’t like to harp on membership because we all know it is important so I’ll leave it at that; although I will say that when your membership committee is making these calls be sure to invite them to a meeting or Post function. I have been contacted by Target on 1009 S. Memorial they have prepared cards to send to the troops. I will have them shortly and I ask that if you are sending care packages please include these with them. I’ve been told that they will do more projects in the future so let’s keep this going. Department and District elections are scheduled so be sure to have your Post delegates elected and PRESENT for these conventions so that your votes counts. I’d like to encourage everyone to support your candidates. May 1st is Loyalty day at Collinsville Post after the Joint meeting we have a special guest speaker Rep. Mike Ritz. He will address us about a few things and will be there for our questions and support as well. Collinsville will be cooking lunch for us be sure to thank them by being there and participating in this Patriotic day. I’m sure I’ve forgotten something but I don’t want to forget to thank everyone for their support. Some of you have gone the extra mile this year and others are steady every year. Each of you is special to me in some way or the other HaHa. Ladies of the Auxiliary Thank you for being our backbone, those who toke an appointment for the District thank you as well. Each of us doing one part makes this work, again Thank You so much and please continue where I leave off. GW Pulliam
